Eliza Logan graduated with a BA (Performance) from UWS Nepean. Since then, she has performed in all forms of theatre, film, television and radio. Her theatrical highlights include: Circle Mirror Transformation (for Ensemble Theatre), Cloudstreet, The Underpants, Laramie Project, Run Rabbit Run (for Belvoir), Twelfth Night (for Siren Theatre Co), The Wild Party (Sydney & Melb Int. Comedy Fest), Crestfall (for Griffin), Ruby Moon (for STCEd), Rope (with Cabin Crew/Old Fitz) and ten years with Milk Crate Theatre performing in, writing and directing theatre with Sydney’s homeless and disadvantaged. Recent film highlights: The Amber Amulet (post- production), The Square, Black Balloon, Miracle Fish, After the Credits. TV highlights: Rake 2, (Akmal’s) Members & Guests, Changi, Secrets of the Jury Room, Backberner, Jessica, All Saints.
Eliza has been the voice of a number of characters in animated television series, such as: Camembert in Bananas in Pyjamas, Shark Queen and Starfish Queen in Sea Princesses, Mum & Mrs Carmody in Tracey McBean, and Mog (Head of the Baddies) in The Kangaroo Creek Gang. Eliza also branched out into writing for animation this year with an episode called, The Naughty Puppy for Bananas In Pyjamas.
Over many years Eliza has been directing, tutoring, creating workshops for and writing for all age groups in a variety of schools, acting institutions, regional art centres, in the corporate arena and also privately. During this time, Eliza has really enjoyed teaching and creating comedy with young people because, let’s face it, kids are funny!
