Anonymous Information
When you look at this web site, our Internet Service Provider automatically makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:
- your server address
- your top level domain name (for example .com or .gov)
- the date and time of your visit to the site
- the pages accessed and the documents downloaded
- the previous site visited and the type of browser used
In addition, software for tracing visitor statistics uses cookies (a small piece of data sent to your browser from our web server and stored on your hard drive) to track user paths through the site, frequency of visits, and details of user operating systems. We do not access personal information about individuals – they retain their anonymity.
This information is used as collective statistics on how people use our site.
These statistics help us plan effective online services. We may publish or make the collective statistics available to others outside the AFTRS.
No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except where AFTRS is required to do so by law.

We will only record personal information if you send it to us and give us permission. This includes such specifics as name, email address, phone number or postal address. We will not use your personal details for any other purpose without your consent.
We may ask you about your interests and preferences, but it is up to you whether or not you respond. It is your choice as to how much personal information you provide to us.

There may be occasions in which it is necessary to disclose your personal information to third parties. AFTRS may be required to do this by law, or AFTRS may disclose your personal information to provide a service you have requested.
Your personal information will only be disclosed where it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which you provided the information. On no other occasions will we provide your personal information to any organisation or party outside of AFTRS unless we have your authority to do this. For example, if you participate in an online seminar or forum, you may decide to publish your name and email address.
Under no circumstances will AFTRS sell or receive payment for licensing or disclosing your personal information.

If AFTRS holds your personal information, wherever possible we will give you access to that information. We will take reasonable steps to keep the information accurate and up to date, and allow self-correction wherever possible.
