Michael Hauge is consistently ranked as one of the world’s top story analysts. Designed for screenwriters, novelists and filmmakers who are new to Michael Hauge’s approach, as well as those who have participated in any of his previous lectures or workshops, this intensive, one-day seminar presents the concepts of structure, character arc, identity and essence in a new way, and then explores more advanced methods for eliciting emotion in your readers and audience.
During the seminar Michael will expand on his principles for “The Hero’s 2 Journeys”, applying them to both Hollywood and Australian films and episodic series television. He will also reveal the keys to developing High Concept story concepts, creating compelling love stories, and getting the people in power to read you work.
Michael works with individual writers and filmmakers around the world on their screenplays, novels, movies and TV scripts. Michael has coached writers, producers, stars and directors on projects for actors including: Will Smith, Julia Roberts, Kirsten Dunst, and Morgan Freeman.
Michael is currently on retainer with Will Smith’s company, Overbrook Entertainment, where he was involved in the development of The Karate Kid, I Am Legend, Hancock and This Means War.
